Intrapreneurship

INTRAPRENEURSHIP is entrepreneurship by employees in existing organisations (Antoncic and Hirsh, 2002, p. 7).

The concepts of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship have a historical lineage that can be traced back to Joseph Schumpeter (1934) and his view of entrepreneurship as a disruptive process leading to the establishment of new organisations and productive processes.
