Provision is an all-encompassing term
that refers to the learning opportunities, research and community activity
offered/undertaken by an institution of higher education.
explanatory context
Provision, in specific contexts, may
imply a subset of the all-encompassing meaning. For example, programme
provision would imply the range of curricula, modes of study, teaching methods
and learning support infrastructure.
analytical review
Provision: In the context of higher education, making courses available to students and supplying them with learning opportunities accordingly.
